COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

In the interest of public safety and in compliance with the Executive Order issued by the Governor of Oregon, Oregon Helicopters has temporarily paused its helicopter tours and air taxi operations due to COVID-19. We will be flying everyone again as soon as conditions allow. For those who can’t wait to share a breathe of fresh air when they get out of the house – all tours and gift cards are on sale for a limited time at 25% OFF! Good for one year (and good for a whole lot of fun). To learn more or if you currently have a previously booked tour, check out the FAQ’s below.

Is my currently booked flight/tour going ahead on schedule?

Oregon Helicopters is currently not flying its tours due to the virus epidemic.

When will flights/tours resume?

We can’t say for sure. That depends on guidance and orders provided by the local and federal government. We are mandated to remain closed for the duration of the Governor of Oregon’s “Stay at home” order.

What are my options if my tour is cancelled due to the virus?

You may reschedule your booking for any later date or leave the booking “open ended” (i.e. not set a specific date). We will contact you when we are able to start tours and flights. You may also request a refund.

What is the earliest date I can book for?

At the moment we are allowing bookings to be made from April 20th on. We may need to change that availability date based on additional information and guidance from authorities.

I had a Groupon that was set to expire April 1. Will it be valid after April 1?

Absolutely. Anyone with a Groupon for a helicopter tour set to expire April 1 can use that voucher at a later date. Contact us when you know the date you want to fly.

If I buy a gift card now at a discount, when can it be redeemed?

Gift cards purchased at a 25% discount will be valid for one year from the date that we re-start operations. It’s not too early for Christmas shopping!
