No, any age can fly. Children under 2 years old can fly in a parent’s lap and do not require a ticket.

We only fly when it is both safe and fun to do so. If the weather does not allow us to fly then you are contacted and given the option of getting a full refund or rescheduling to a new date and time of your choice.

Yes! There is room in the helicopter’s baggage compartment for cases of wine.

The heliport is located at 33 NW Davis St. in Portland. It is on the rooftop of a public parking garage called SmartPark. You can park your car in the garage (there are always available spaces). Additionally you can take light rail called MAX. The MAX stop “Old Town China Town” is directly next to the building. However you get there, call when you arrive to be escorted onto the rooftop.

Yes, the maximum weight per passenger is 300 pounds.

Helicopters can fly in the rain, yes. Weather decisions are based not on rain but on factors like visibility. If there is light rain in the area that does not affect visibility then the tour should be fine to go.

The Portland tours shown above all start from the Downtown Portland heliport. The exact address is 33 NW Davis St., Portland Or 97209. The building is a SmartPark parking garage which is provides public parking for less than $2 hourly. There are always spaces available. Call or text when you arrive to advise staff that you are there.

No, only you and your guests will be on board. All winery tours and picnics are private.

Your time at the picnic site or winery is your own. Use it to make the moment perfect for you. Some extra items can be taken in the baggage compartment of the helicopter if arranged ahead of time. Also, some wineries are willing to make special accommodations for proposals. Call ahead to the winery to arrange if you have special needs or plans.

The rooftop heliport is secured by access codes. To get access please call or text Oregon Helicopters at 503.987.0060. A staff member will escort you up.
